This, the fourth event in the ITSF World Tour of the five official ITSF tables, took place for the second year running in the picturesque city of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.

Sixteen teams took part in the National Teams Competition, in which Team GB entered a squad of four players but were unfortunate to be drawn against strong opposition in the early stages, and not make it through the initial qualification phase.
