The ITSF World Cup, now a regular January event in the north-westerly French city of Nantes, is the culmination of a year's worth of ITSF tournaments and represents the ultimate level of national competition and achievement with matches played on all five ITSF official tables: Bonzini, Garlando, Roberto Sport, Tecball and Tornado. This year there are national team competitions in four distinct categories: Men, Women, Senior and Junior. Each team picks its own home table from the five to play half of its matches on, with the other half played on the opponent's table.
The Great Britain Men's team comprises nine players. In each match seven of those will play, leaving some margin for tactical player selection to contend with opponent's differing table choices. The Men's team have chosen Tornado for their home table, as they have in previous years.
The draws for the group stages of the World Cup were held on the 30th of November, live on local French television. The Men's team group is shown below:
Group Stage
- Great Britain

Wish us all the best of luck in this year's competition!
