The ITSF World Cup, now a regular January event in the north-westerly French city of Nantes, is the culmination of a year's worth of ITSF tournaments and represents the ultimate level of national competition and achievement with matches played on all five ITSF official tables: Bonzini, Garlando, Roberto Sport, Tecball and Tornado. This year there are national team competitions in four distinct categories: Men, Women, Senior and Junior. Each team picks its own home table from the five to play half of its matches on, with the other half played on the opponent's table.

The Great Britain Women's team is made up of six players. All six will be playing in every match, meaning that multi-table ability across all five tables will be important for every member of the squad. The Women's team this year, led by the experienced Mayya Racy, have opted for Garlando as their home table. Our Women's team will be looking to do one better than their finishing position last year - runner's up behind a French team with home advantage.

The draws for the group stages of the World Cup were held on the 30th of November, live on local French television. The Women's team group is shown below:
