ITSF Sport Dress Code

Did you know that the ITSF requires all players to abide by the ITSF dress code? That means every UK player must obtain 4 shirts and a track suit top and bottom. For many players this is a significant expense, and many simply cannot afford it. There is also a danger that the team will look disarrayed if clothing is left to individual players. Clothing is allowed to carry advertising logos. Here is the ITSF Dress Code:
Sport Dress
- Each player must have 4 “national” shirts: one for each day of the event
- A jogging suit (top and bottom) is also required of all players
- The name of the country must be clearly displayed on the players’ shirts and jogging suit
- Players can also add their names and country’s flag on their shirts and jogging suits, if they wish
- Players must wear their national shirt during ceremonies and matches
- Players who do not abide by this rule will not be allowed to compete
- Players are strongly encouraged to wear their national sport dress during the whole event, even if they don’t play every day
